This film is based on a true story set in East Berlin 1984 before the fall of the wall when the secret police (stasi) controlled everything by having over 100,000 employees and 200,000 informers.
There is no fancy filming or lighting or stunts, this is just a plain and simple film shot against the backdrop of East Berlin where the lives of others affect one man more than his background would have thought. It's quite slow paced but you don't want it to end too soon.
Worth a watch. 7/10
