You bustin' my balls?
1990 Martin Scorsese. Based on a true story.
The story follows the life of Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) in Broklyn New York between the 50's and 80's as he rises through the ranks of the local mob with his friends Jimmy and Tommy played by Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci. Every actor that has played an Italian gangster is probably in this film at some point, there's even an appearance by Samuel L Jackson as Stax.
It really sets the scene of what life was like to be a gang member during this time, all the cars, women, crime, partying and inevitable violence. Great dialog and pace, sets the bar for others of this genre.
